US$100 (includes food, room accommodation and transportation in Taiwan)
Please note: Air Tickets, Visa, Taxes, Terminal Fees are not included in the package. These will be shouldered by the participant. 

Deadline for Submission of Requirements

Bring clothes for cold and wet climate. It gets damp and chilly in the early morning and evening.  Temperatures can drop below average from January to February. Also during this time, Taiwan experiences freezing drizzles that is bone chilling. Brrrr!

Zen Meditation and Buddhism Classes 2011

Through Zen Meditation, we can reach an understanding of life's difficulties thereby gain true wisdom and peace of mind. The key to enlightenment is by reflecting inward into out own minds and attaining an unbiased perception of reality.

Beginning Zen Meditation and Fundamental Buddhism Concepts

I. Sessions in Mandarin
Wednesdays 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Classes begin on September 7, 2011

II. Sessions in English
A. Saturdays 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Classes begin on September 10, 2011

B. Sundays 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Classes begin on September 11, 2011

III. Bodhi Star Kids (Ages 6-12)
Saturdays 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Classes begin on September 24, 2011

IV. Bodhi Star Youth (Ages 13-17)
Saturdays 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Classes begin on September 24, 2011

V. Learning Mandarin
Sundays 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Classes begin on September 24, 2011

Enrollment ongoing. Please register in person and submit one recent photo.

• All classes meet for 12 consecutive weeks at Ocean Sky Monastery.
• All classes are open to the public, free of charge.
• All participants must be in good psychological and physical health.
• Smoking, alcohol, and pets are not allowed inside the premises.
• All participants must must observe meditation dress code: Loose, comfortable, and modest attire with socks. (No short pants, short skirts or bare feet)
